Revised COVID-19 Guidelines
If you have recently tested positive for COVID-19 and have not been released from quarantine, please stay home. If you have or recently have had any combination of COVID-19 symptoms (fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, chest pain, confusion, etc.), please stay home. If you have recently been exposed to someone who has such symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. This is a self-regulated measure; we will not be screening or taking anyone’s temperature.
We are requesting masks to be worn while entering, exiting, and moving about the building. We encourage you to bring your own masks, though we will provide some at the entrance.
We encourage everyone to maintain social distancing, although we know this will not be possible at times.
We will provide hand-sanitizer and encourage its use. Stations will be at the entrance, exit, and doors to the auditorium.
The alternative method we will be using for communion is individually packaged elements, which you will pick up on the way into the building for each person taking communion in your family.
Giving baskets and visitor cards will not be passed. Instead, they will be available on a table near the exit.
In order to avoid contamination the water fountain will not be available for use at this time, so please bring your own water bottle.
Even with all these precautions in place, we recognize that attending the Sunday Gathering will involve some measure of risk. Since these measures will be more self-regulated than stiffly monitored, they may break down at certain moments. That said, our posture in gathering will be one of grace rather than enforcement.
If you feel comfortable attending at this time, we are looking forward to worshiping with you in person. If not, we understand, and we will continue to worship with you “in spirit and truth” (John 4:23) via the livestream. Please contact us if you have any questions.
